Data Deletion Instructions

This is an initial draft of our data deletion process, published to describe our current practice in good faith while Aktimus is in early development. It has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and will be revised once a self-service deletion flow is built.

This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from Aktimus, an AI platform operated by LABOUTI, S.A. de C.V. that helps businesses manage customer communication over WhatsApp. It applies both to businesses ("Tenants") using Aktimus and to individual customers who have messaged a WhatsApp number connected to Aktimus.

How to request deletion

We do not yet have a self-service deletion tool. To request deletion, send an email to privacy@aktimus.com with:

  1. The WhatsApp phone number, business name, or account email associated with the data you want deleted.
  2. A short description confirming you are requesting deletion of your data.

What happens next

We will confirm receipt of your request, verify that it comes from the person or business the data belongs to (or their authorized representative), and delete or anonymize the associated data — including message content, contact details, and account records — within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. We will confirm with you once the request has been completed.

Scope

A deletion request removes the data we control as described in our Privacy Policy. It does not remove messages or data that remain on WhatsApp itself or on the device of the person you were messaging, which are outside our control.
